Personal Timed Lock box FAQ
My box won't unlock!
If your Lockbox does not Unlock after a timer ends or after you enter an override code, the box has probably been "overstuffed". This means there is upward pressure from the contents on the lid.
To solve, press down on the lid, and manually re-lock (press and hold middle button for 5 seconds). Continue pressing down on the lid, and enter the override code for lockbox & standard timer (Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left Right).
Remember that this code only works in Standard Mode! We do not publish a Fortress Mode override code, please contact us for assistance.
Help, I accidentally set a Fortress Mode timer!

Why did my timer get cancelled?
After you have set a timer and pressed the middle button to initiate, there is a 15 second count-down period where the screen blinks. Pressing any button during the countdown will cancel the timer and require you to re-enter your timer.
Is Fortress Override Code reusable?
Yes it is for V1 and V2. We will be launching V3 in the Winter of 2024 that will have multiple Fortress override codes
If I remove batteries does that reset countdown?
No it does not, the countdown timer will remain in place until the countdown has been completed.
Does the screen turn off?
Unfortunately, the screen is always on and doesn't turn off. It's designed to be ready for use at any moment
How long does the battery typically last?
4-6 months with 2 x AA batteries
Does the device block cellular signals?
No, it does not block cell signals.
Am I able to extend the countdown timer once it's started?
No, you have to wait until the original countdown is complete to add more time.
What is the Minimum - Maximum amount of time the countdown timer can be set?
1 minute - 30 days.
Is it possible to charge my phone while it's inside the box?
Yes, there are 2 holes allowing a charging cable to pass through.
What are the differences between the three modes?
