Was hoping that the override mode was a custom code so that I could give it to someone else as a backup and they can change it if needed. If it's a standard code, I don't see the point. Just got it, so I'll be trying out the fortress mode.

My box won't unlock!

If your Lockbox does not unlock after a timer ends or after entering an override code, the box has likely been “overstuffed”. Press down firmly on the lid, re-lock (press and hold the middle button for 5 seconds), and then enter the override code: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right (Standard Mode only).
